London Collections Men: Marwood

You know us Brits love a bow tie, and there were plenty on show at London Collections Men. One of our favourite finds were from Marwood, who were showcasing their full collection for the first time.  This included bow ties, ties, braces, and pocket squares.  Spiffing!

Launched in 2011, Marwood’s first collection showcased an exquisitely crafted range of ties and bow ties made with the finest fabrics such as woven silk, wool and traditional English Leavers lace.  The neckties celebrate the traditions and techniques of a rich and distinguished British heritage.

Available from the ‘b Store’ in London, and spreading across the globe to other well known retailers.  Watch this brand fly, just like the Wright brothers.

Gentleman Arthur and his beautiful ties

My fellow dandy's, I present to you this Christmas 'Gentleman Arthur', a delightful tie company producing hand made, limited edition pieces.  'Arthur' produces small runs of 100 or so ties all hand printed from wood block carvings.

All the way from the US of A, even the pet dog looks great in one.

Sorsd - curators of men's style

Hot of the press, and ready to dress the discerning gent, Sorsd [pronounced sourced] (Twitter -@sorsd) has launched this year.  Created by a group of well heeled buyers it showcases stylish, high quality and unique (something we love at Maketh-The-Man) brands for men.

Simple put, they curate men's style.  Good job chaps.
