Beads and Bangles by Christophe Cottin

Whilst wondering around the back streets of Paris, we came across Christophe Cottin. He specialises in wrist wear for us men, and has a great collection in his store.  With the growing trend for men to wear beads and bangles at almost any occasion, and sometimes even alongside their watches, then now is the time to upgrade those festival beads to something a little classier.

Give me some bacon, Rob Bacon

I love bacon.  I particularly love it on some brown toast, with a touch of HP Brown Sauce and rocket (ohhhhhhhhhh yeah!).  However, another bacon I have come to admire is Rob Bacon the jewellery designer.

He creates custom jewellery for celebrities, stylists for fashion shots, and many other situations like when you just need to wear something fabulous.  Check him out, perhaps on a Sunday whilst nursing a bit of a hangover and tucking into my suggested favourite bacon sandwich.

Filson knows how to make a man bag

Leather Field Satchel
Wool Field Bag-Small

The Carry-on Bag-Small in Otter Green

Wheeled Duffle-Large
Since 1897, Filson have been knocking out the most beautiful bags for man.  Back in the day, they may have had some rope, a knife, money, compass and to be honest who knows what else in those nifty bags.  Now a days though you are more likely to find headphones, ipod, sunglass, wallet and a mobile phone.  So is there still a need for such classic bags?

The answer can only be HELL YES!  The modern day dandy may have moved on, but our love and requirement for a good bag is still there.  Whatever the occasion be it at the office, the cocktail bar, the weekend away, the shooting range... the list goes on and on...

So thank you Filson, keep up the good work, for a man bag is our new best friend.

Maison Martin Margiela brings us lovely leather accessories

The new collection from Maison Martin Margiela (Twitter - @MMM_Official) is simple but beautiful.  Check out the highlights above, including some interesting detail on the cuffs and belts.  What we especially like is the 'common sense' pocket on the leather wallet.  I mean, where else is a chap suppose to keep all his spare change?  In a money bag dangling from his belt..... Hmmmmm we maybe on to something!

Be daring with Eleanor Bolton

Accessories should be daring and fun, fact!  For it is an accessory that can really make an outfit.  Now Eleanor Bolton clearly thinks the same, as she creates unexpected and unusual pieces of jewellery.

Using rope, recycled materials, and many other bits and pieces she is leading the way in innovative design.  So go forward my fine men, grow some, and be daring with your accessory wearing.

An Enfants Perdus is for life, not just Christmas

Well we are back from our summer hols, and inspired by so many tasty trinkets that we found through-out our travels.  Finding a jewellery company that not only creates beautiful pieces, but is also proud of their history and cause is often a difficult task, but we have found just that.

Enfants Perdus is a shining light in the fine jewellery industry.  Crafted from sterling silver and gold with flashes of rare diamonds, pearls and gemstones, they are gothic heirlooms for the modern man.
